Now open

Welcome to the new yarn shop in town! We are in the beginning stages, but we are looking forward to providing new yarns, classes and charity opportunities in the community and online.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Liberty and I started knitting 3 1/2 years ago. At the time I had 3 little boys and one big boy (my husband), and now we have 4 sons. I decided I needed something for myself so I learned how to knit. It was a lifesaver for me. When the boys would go to bed at night I would sit down and knit. It was a way for me to totally relax and unwind. At the time we lived in Oregon and I was blessed to have a yarn shop nearby that was able to help me through my mistakes and teach me new techniques. I want to do the same for others. Wherever we are at in our journey of handcrafting I want the shop to provide an opportunity to beginners through advanced. I want people to have a place to come and take a seat, relax and unwind.

Please come in and touch and feel our luxurious line of yarns. If there is a yarn that you are interested in us carrying please put your suggestion in the suggestion box.

Once a month we will have a different charity to focus on to knit or crochet items for. This month our charity focus is the Ronald McDonald house in Lubbock, Texas. We are making baby blankets. You can knit, crochet or sew a baby blanket and just bring it into the shop. If you want to participate and you live far away then you can mail it to the shop as well.

I am so excited to meet fellow knitters and crocheters. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
