Big Changes

Hello Everyone!

Shabby Sheep Yarn Shoppe has new owners. Come by and say hello to Vickie and George Wallace. There lots of changes coming to the shop this month. Knit Nite will still be on Fridays from 5 til everyone leaves! Or George falls asleep which ever comes first. Starting May 17 there will also be a Crochet Nite so be sure to stop by and spend some time with your 'Hooker' friends. On Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm we will offer free help to anyone needing assistance with their projects. If you need help at other times just ask about Instant Classes. Instant Classes allow you to create on the spot any class that you are interested in taking for a small fee. There will also be posted a regular class schedule for May. Please be sure to check out the Constant contact we send out for additional class information. Until next time knit like your ball of yarn never ends!

Extraordinary Eggs Contest!

Enter your Extraordinary Egg and the winner will receive 20% off of their next purchase! Eggs must be made with yarn purchased at Shabby Sheep Yarn Shoppe to qualify. We will have a specially designed pattern by George Wallace of Plaid Iris free with the purchase of yarn. All eggs will be donated to the nursing home for Easter. We will include handmade cards by children so if you have a child that wants to make a card please bring it to the shop. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, April 22nd.

SOCK CLUB TEASERS

The deadline for the sock club is almost here.

Here is a little teaser for the club:

Even if you don't knit socks there are so many things you can make with this lovely yarn...fingerless gloves, earwarmer/headband, a baby dress, baby booties. The possibilities are endless.

The sock club will run from April 1st, 2011 through September 1st, 2011. The cost for the sock club membership is $25/month (includes shipping). You have three payment options. You can pay $25/per month or $75/3 months or $125/6 months. If you choose to make monthly installments you must pay by the 1st of the previous month. We will send out email reminders for those already enrolled in the club. Please remember there is limited space so please sign up promptly.

For local residents only: If you are local to Shabby Sheep Yarn Shoppe in Portales, NM then the cost is $20/per month and you will pick it up at the shop. Please sign up and pay at the shop.

Shabby Sheep Sock Club 2011

There is so much going on at the shop! It is very exciting. The latest news is the launch of our first sock club.

Let your mind be tantalized awake this April and join Shabby Sheep Yarn Shoppe’s monthly sock club.

Each month you will receive a sock pattern and hand dyed sock yarn inspired by nature and the world around us.
